I'll give Kelvin 10 and everyone else 9. That's the way to strike, sit on the lead, soak up pressure and counterstrike. So very proud of the Lads tonight. Everyone, but everyone, put in a shift. Belief is now going to be sky high, if it wasn't before.

Good efforts from Hammond and Chaplow in closing them down. It was more a magnificent performance from Leeds than it was a poor performance from us. No one did that badly really.

Kelvin 10 is the most obvious rating all season. Who cares about the others only reason we have this result is Super Kelv!

I thought Hammond was probably the stand out outfield player other than Lambert who obviously got the goal with a sublime volley, Hammond put in a great shift in defence. Kelvin was unbelievable, 10 for him.

I honestly thought Cork was poor and looked lightweight today.....every time the ball went near him we lost possession. Worrying.

I think it was a good away performance from us, took our chance, and kept them out (largely thanks to SKD). I don't think anyone had a particularly poor performance although Fonte does worry me sometimes with hands all over opposition players, and the occasional handball claims against him. I was glad to see that Chaplow seems to be returning to form, still had incredible energy at 90 minutes and just chased every ball which is exactly what we needed today.
    Davis - 10
    Richardson - 6
    Hooiveld - 6
    Fonte - 5
    Fox - 6
    Puncheon - 6
    Schneiderlin - 6
    Cork - 5
    Chaplow - 7
    Lambert - 7
    Lee - 6

    Guly - 5
    Hammond - 6
    Harding - 6

Easy six points. time to move up to the big league ..

Oh ok. Leeds were magnificent. We threw our bodies on the line and Kelvin was awesome. Forget the ratings tonight. This was about a result. Brilliant simply brilliant.

absolutely. I can't ever remember seeing a Saints team stand up to that kind of battering. We simply believed. Fantastic.

Impossible to give them rating over the full 90 mins, as the results wouldn't be reflective, so I'll take it one half at a time.

    1st Half

    Davis - 9
    Richardson - 5
    Fonte - 6
    Hooiveld - 8
    Fox - 5
    Chaplow - 4
    Morgan - 5
    Cork - 4
    Puncheon - 6
    Lee - 5
    Lambert - 7

    2nd half

    Davis - 10
    Richardson - 6
    Fonte - 8
    Hooiveld - 9
    Harding - 6
    Chaplow - 8
    Morgan - 6
    Cork - 7
    Hammond - 7
    Guly - 6
    Lambert - 7

Still rate puncheon but could see why he went of at half time really poor
Cork apart from the cross didnt do anything
But in a way defense should get 8 each as surviving pressure like that needs so much concentration and leeds just looked unplayable.

I actually thought Morgan played well, got himself stuck in and was composed on the ball, Hammond was exactly what we needed when he came on and Lambo got a good goal. Tad Lee was lively, guly just ran around Hoover and Jose pretty solid and super Kelv was absolutely unbelievable fantastic display from that man. Bechio and snodgrass caused us problems but we got bodies on the front line and the scenes at the end of the game showed everything. Passion, togetherness, spirit and it showed how much our lads want to get to the promise land. Great win.

Great team spirit and that is what will carry us forward. Leeds will play worse than that and get points.

I think as previous posters have already said the team effort and togetherness shone through.

But most importantly all of our team were determined today, you could see how much it meant to them and how close they feel they are. The game was not vintage Saints we struggled to keep possession, however it was far from luck why we won today.

I don't see how Lee can only be 5 or 6 when he laid the ball off from a header perfectly for the goal. Deserves 7 just for that. Put in a shift too, and I thought he should have stayed on a bit longer. Fantastic spirit in the squad now, will carry us to promotion, you'll see.
