Leeds Midfield

We lost Kilkenny and Johnson and we have gained Brown... From all reports Nunez is sounding like he could be the surprise package for next season. Assuming we play 4-4-2 with Gradel and Snodgrass wide do we really need another midfielder?

Howson, Brown and Nunez for two spots, Sam, Somma, Clayton all able to cover midfield positions of one kind or another?

Praying we get Stockdale now and hopefully two more defenders before we kick off but I am quietly confident that from Midfield up we are pretty strong and slightly better than last season.

 

yea i wrote a thread about this before, the midfield is looking very strong (dont think somma would play in midfield...) we need a keeper and 1 defender, not 2 and depending on the formation we play which i think we wil play 4-5-1 again we could do with another midfielder

 

There's already a thread about the Leeds midfield,why didn't you post on that?

 

I'm guessing we'll play the usual 4-2-3-1, in which case I'd say we need another 2 midfielders to go with Clayton and Brown. (Clingan and Eremenko?)

 

i would like to see emerenko but i think he's more of an attacking midfielder

 

We need 1 more CM, pretty obvious really, then the midfield is set.
