Pearson buying some shares has also been mentioned on another forum, I think it was mentioned on a media article as well Eire. I don't know if it's true or not as I haven't read anything on it; normally Pope and Co write about these things once they get a whiff of it.

I'm also beginning to think that Cellino may have given Pearson certain powers though, if he has, then it says to me Cellino's learning about the English game and what's required; untill we know otherwise for sure, then that's the way it looks. Bringing Pearson in in the first place seems to be a big move by Cellino.

Analysing Pearson's so called text message "it's going to be a long year". It's certainly something that can be taken out of context, and who's Bean to say Pearson was putting pressure on Redders, does he know this for a fact, or did Redders assume it? or did they both have a chinwag about it first? Bean is certainly trying to put pressure on Cellino by saying what he's said to media.

Bean is obviously still carrying a lot of hatred for Cellino and seems to be looking for any opportunity to have a go at him (revenge seeking), why hasn't he just moved on? other question is "Why did Redders go to Bean in first place" who made first contact?

While Bean has been saying Redders has text messages from Cellino, what's more important is, what were Redders replies, if any. Why hasn't Redders brought the text messages up; Bean's doing all talking and Redders seems to be quiet (I haven't read anything to the contrary) could Redders be standing back allowing others do his dirty work (other than a Solicitor of course).

Those with a love for Cellino will always defend him, those with a dislike for him will always blame him.

Far too many assumptions and finger pointing and so few facts.

Cellino with his style of doing things is always going to make him a lot of enemies, some will sit back others will go on the revenge trail, it is only to be expected.

We are all different, I used to be terrible for not moving on and always seeking revenge if I felt hard done by, my wife has calmed me down a lot in that department.

I fully understand anyone seeking revenge, I am not saying it is a healthy thing, just that I understand how nice revenge can feel.

Cellino is just as guilty when it comes to revenge, there was no need to give the press interview about Redfearn calling him a baby.

We don't know what went on after that, if Redfearn was offered his old job back or a variation that would have been impossible for him to work with none of us know. Maybe Redfearn did manipulate himself into the job but it could be argued if Cellino was good at his job he would have seen through that.

Bottom line is Cellino made a mistake promoting him, he made another mistake promising him his old job back, sounds good and I was for it at the time but as another post pointed out, an early bad start for Rosler and fans putting pressure on calling for Redfearn to take charge would not have been an ideal situation.

Until the end of last season we have been a train wreck, flirted with relegation, signed dubious players like Cani, Cellino has said the wrong things, made promises he can't keep and made terrible appointments.

After the conclusion of last season he seems to be doing almost everything right. I just hope that he has learned a lesson and that we continue moving forward, maybe not forward as quick as I would like but it is better than one forward and two back as in previous seasons.

you'd have thought Redfearn would have stood by his best pal Thompson out of principal when he got the bullet for "**** all" but no, he did nothing and said **** all **** him, he was useless

I think Redders needs to be very careful at this point LL. Hes out of work and Im sure his behaviour at this point could have implications in the future with his employment prospects. Im not sure a future employer would be too impressed with him using text messages as blackmail allegedly

If we finish top 10 come back and tell me how wrong I was...
The squad is no better than last year as it stands.
As a marker we wont get 60 points whilst we are working under Cellino.... Period.

Bollocks... Cellino is a joke in football circles. Redfearn is useless and i am pleased he has gone but a spat with Cellino wont affect his chances of getting another job.

I totally agree Eire, I'm not a fan of Redders but, going to Bean was probably a big mistake.

Congratulations Chippy, the queue is forming already. I think I'll wheel out my mobile bar, I'll make a fortune........:emoticon-0105-wink:
