What have Leeds done this summer to deserve that?? Missed out on Bowyer and Stockdale!!! On another note we've appear to have missed out on another player who we had on loan last season. Rory Fallon has gone to Yeovil!!!!
Apologies for the misunderstanding. You have a decent keeper in Lonergan but I do find it slightly strange that you get rid of one of the best keepers in the division then turn down a potential england goalkeeper!!!
I had an interesting chat on the Leeds page re Kasper. Brief run down, looked good in big games and on telly but shocking mistakes in other games cost them points. Can't see how Lonergan is an improvement myself but it's not our problem. Just been thinking about O'Dea against the budgies away
1. It's a six month loan: http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co....news/leeds_united_set_to_sign_o_dea_1_3643957 2. You did miss out on Stockdale, if as we all believe he wanted to join you then that's even more stupid.
If you look at the time of my post, at that point he had not signed. And it's a season long loan by the way. So wrong again. We turned down Stockdale because of the 24 hour recall clause. Grayson has constantly said that if we are to get a player on loan then it will be for the season. No short term loans. This also crosses onto the Stockdale clause, because there is the potential for it to not be a season long loan. Lonegran from what I have seen so far is a better keeper than Kasper, Kasper was massively over rated due to having good games when under the eye of the camera's.
Danny Ryan - the Yorkshire Evening Post said HALF season loan, I even posted the source - and the news story was timed about five hours before your post. The Yorkshire Evening Post got it wrong. What a numbskull. It's even better news then if you're stuck with him for the whole season. And yes I understand that the recall clause and the fee put Leeds off but it's definitely a risk that Grayson should've taken. What's he doing instead - wasting money on O'Dea's wages because he's desperate to sign somebody, anybody he can get.
The YEP also states it isn't a done deal yet, so it is subject to change, so any information they put isn't 100% true. They are also a newspaper. Any of the finer details are often false unless released by the club. You're a 'numbskull' if you don't take what newspapers say with a pinch of salt anyway. Don't blame it on the YEP, you should of done your research, you got it wrong.
Well Danny Ryan - it's pretty clear the deal was going to be done even at 9am this morning, so hence you are indeed a numbskull for being so pedantic. I'm not entirely sure what the point of your post actually was, other than a last cry for help at the horrors you are set to witness this season
