My nephew was watching wwe wrestling from Monday night yesterday. As I sat reading the paper I looked up and in the second row a leeds flag caught my eye. As I watched the guy, who was in a home shirt, he held up a big sign saying Cellionooo. He then turned it over and it said Yeboah 3.16 on the other side. It made me chuckle that so many of the americans there and watching on telly would not get the reference. I loved the fact we are everywhere, as proven by the multi national commenter's we get on not606. As a distraction to everything else lets discuss the strangest, furthest away place you have come across something related to our great club? MOT
Not a big deal but this weekend away, while queuing for brekkie in hotel, a guy was sat with his kids wearing his Leeds shirt. Nothing unusual ten years ago but a little rarer these days unfortunately
It always amazes me the reaction i get when people spot the Leeds jacket i wear often. I get a wave or Leeds salute from fellow fans or, more often, abuse and people telling me they don't like Leeds. I can't think of many more clubs where people will feel the need to tell you their thoughts on it just because they recognise the badge.
Used to visit Florida a lot in the early 90's. Me and my brother would have a daily competition to see how many Leeds/Liverpool/Scum shirts we would see that day and Leeds would often come out on top (Chelsea, Arsenal & Man City didn't really come into it in those days). Not strange, but the furthest away for me would be on my honeymoon in Thailand, watching Leeds v Bradford in the Prem (yes, it was THAT long ago) very late on a Monday night in a sort of outdoor bar by the beach and I was not the only Leeds fan there.
Ryder cup at Celtic Manor stood next to Tiger Woods watching the final groups on the Monday and a Leeds fan was next to me magic moment haha
Most unusual place I've seen a Leeds fan was on top of the Chelsea scoreboard knocking **** out of it
I was in Egypt a few years back. A waiter asked me and my mates who we supported. When I said Leeds he got excited and started talking about our players and stuff. My mate then said he was a Newcastle fan and the waiter said "who? " outstanding.
Last time there was any crossing of paths of wally fans. Also looks like their 1st eleven for next year in Div 1. View attachment 30541
It's a strange one TBH we've got a bizarre spread across the country fan base wise. We seem to pop up every where. We've got a large fan base in Northamptonshire it's not just Ristac
Big Irish community in Northampton if I'm not mistaken. Makes sense as we've always had a big fan base in Ireland.
