No excuse to boo Tomkins, but to suggest Leeds fans are scum is a bit silly. I've read on other RL forums that whilst some people booing him were Leeds fans, there were fans of other clubs booing him too. Just because the game was at Headingley doesn't mean there were only Leeds fans there! Every club has it's numpties but they are in the minority but you can't label their entire support as 'scum' which the title of this thread suggests.
Fair point, I can't change the title now though, but if I could it would say "Fans booing Tomkins are scum"
While I don't agree with them booing him, I can understand why he got booed, his constant petulance and milking of penalties doe'nt make him mr popular with oppo fan's. Still to be booed by your own supporter's is crazy and I would'nt exactly say it was few, it sounded like there were a lot of people booing every time he got the ball.
