Not much love lost between our two clubs but I genuinely feel sorry for you guys at present. Your owner is just the type of guy no supporter would ever want within a million miles of their club. Removes your identity with the change to red and now this fiasco with your manager is despicable. Ive a sneaky feeling your on a similar path to Blackburn but hopefully not. Time to protest people and let that weird looking bollix of an owner see he does not have the fans support. Good luck for the rest of season, you're going to bloody need it
What I genuinely don't understand is that Tan wants to sack him for spending over budget, but surely Tan had to sanction the cheques. Now he will pay Malky £3mill and bring in Sven. How much will he be on. Sven will want to turn the team into his team, lots of players sold cheap, and buy lots of expensive new guys. How much more will Tan have to spend. Tan is obviously a dick. Malky looked a class act on the tele yesterday. He will be at a bigger clun in a few weeks. No disrespect intended. You need to have a boycott and get rid of him.
Sentiments appreciated GH but not so simple as you well know. How long did it take you to get rid of Bates and are you much better off now? Heaven forbid Sven though. Our wives won't be safe or has he taken a fancy to sheep?
It took 8 years to got rid of Bates, and he still lingers like a bad smell. Taking us to court over his sacking, and taking a lease on office space 30m from the ground to set up a radio station. However it was worth it as the club is already transformed, we have a feel good factor back, and with a bit of sensible investment promised we just might be in with a chance of being pl next year. Going to games doesn't feel like duty now, it's actually enjoyable. Hope you stay up we might need the six easy points next year.
It took us a lifetime to get rid of Bates. We are infinitely better off without him. Great mood now at club and among the fans. Air of positivity all round the club and have the ideal manager. Sven is not the solution
It's debatable that we would be better off without tan though. We may stay up, go back to blue, play like brazil etc. We may get someone worse and tumble though the leagues like Portsmouth. Oh yeah it would be our club, no it wouldn't any more than it is now. Appreciate the sentiments but no one on here wants a boycott. Tan will not stop me watching my team. There is a need to voice our opinion. We did that yesterday and if he doesn't back or sack MM before boxing day the statement there will be categoric. There is a section of our support that wants tan out at any price but I don't believe it a majority.
The fans who want Tan out can club together and buy the club back then they can do what they like but I wonder if they did own the club whether they would sit back and say nothing about how the club is run like they expect the present owner to do? I am sorry Leeds fan but with your record at sorting your problems and where your club has been I think we will let things sort themselves as so far that has got us huge investment and premiership football. So many sides have got owners promising to invest but we got one who actually has invested, that is the big difference between a promise and action. jck
The point is that VT is a nutter. Yes, he's got loads of money, but so did willy ****ing wonka. This is a man who (if what I heard last night is right) believes that it was Liverpool who should have changed their colours yesterday, even though it was their home game. I started watching the city in 1988 and although I'd love to stay in the prem I'd support them and watch them even if they were in the conference. You're right, of course, the owner can d what he likes, but that doesn't T make it right. If he was to see the light and behave properly and let the manager do the managing, I'd have no problem with his eccentricity, but he knows nothing about the game and is a dangerous lunatic. A vies aid before, thank god he S not in charge of a country. He makes Robert Mugabe seem sane.
Shadow Man???????? http://www.cardiffcityforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=130075&sid=00f0d419850fef1de59f1b15aab2e42f Always more than meets the eye usually.
Don't know if any of that is credible but it does seem a few of the posters don't have the tan out at any price agenda. My point on Thursday was that we only had one very small part of a very complicated story.
Tan has said nothing apart from he will always do what is best for Cardiff while Malky has simply said he is not going to resign. It now looks like there has been a deliberate attempt to manipulate this situation as a backdoor way of causing more trouble as the shirt change is old hat now. jck
No talks held with anybody. Sven's name has been bandied about in the rags along with a host of other inventions - but it' s a complete fallacy. Same policy from me - DON'T PANIC - and don't believe three thirds of what you read. The Chairman, who Malky trusts, is now rubbishing all the ridiculous rumours about replacements - which the Anti Tan brigade have been spreading with the help of the media who are loving all this as much as BU (next headline "The Man who hated Cardiff" blash blah blah ....).
Don't be jealous, a MASSIVE club like Leeds will bounce back soon. Really how could it possibly happen to a club the size of yours? I'll answer my own question, it's because you've been **** for years so **** off back to your own board.
Please excuse my fellow Leeds fans they are just the same on our board. The potato muncher is actually a millwall fan. He is a leading light in the save Lomax Campaign.
Just goes to prove two wrongs do make a right. A spud sucker posting about a Cardiff football team on an ENGLISH football forum.
Not sure what you're getting at GH but last time I looked it was the Barclays Premier League and not exclusively English.
