Rumours are that Leeds are chasing Clint Hill.

I know not everyone out there rate him but i still do, and as long as we are short on defensive options he def needs to stay IMO. We can't let the "ball-repeller" leave without adequate replacement.

Any talk of him leaving whilst he's our only recognised left back is crazy.

My first back up for CB or LB and a great character/leader on the pitch and dress room we have to keep him, one of the true leaders of our squad last year.

Won't happen. He has a part to play this season still.

I think Hill and Derry will be important squad players this season and certainly won't be going anywhere before January...

Hill is definitely not surplus at the moment - don't think he'll be going anywhere

Still think there was something funny about Gorkss leaving. Can only imagine there was a bust up with Warnock...

Warnock had criticised Gorkss after a couple of our defeats last season so you have to accept his judgement has been coloured by what he sees, also you don't know what he sees in training, these would be factors.

Hill and Derry are leaders on the pitch, players that are a regular 7 out of 10. They are also NW players and I cannot see him letting them leave

I agree. Whilst accepting that the PL is a gigantic step up from the Championship, I think its a shame that the defensive unit that did such a fine job last season was not given the opportunity this time around. Oh well, onwards and upwards!

Leeds can't have our Clint - simple as.

Still wish we had gone for Max Gradel though!

He is good and we MUST keep him. We need as many options at the back as possible at the moment. Definitely a good backup at the least. I'd have nothing against him having a starting position, though.

I rate him and really like his attitude. Obvious lack of pace is the problem at this level. Definitely needed as cover for the defence even if we get a couple more defenders in imo.

Great to see all the replys backing Clint. Definately one of my personal favourites within our squad, impressed me a lot during his first season.
