Read the story on the BBC about how Swindon chairman Lee Power has sacked Mark Cooper and taken over managerial duties himself in the short term. That got me thinking that we used to have a striker back in the early 90's by that name, and then when I read more into the story I realised it's the same guy! I never would have recognised him from the photograph, and I had no idea he'd become a football chairman, surely that doesn't happen very often does it?

No need to ask who had all the pies, he looks a match for new Leeds manager Steve Evans! <laugh>

Power played in one of the early Sky Games

And check out the sky girls clapping the players on the pitch...

Same messy hairstyle (a loose definition in anyone's book).

Loved him in the City shirt, shame it all went horribly wrong for him.

The only one I can think of, off the top of my head, was Niall Quinn at Sunderland.

How strange, that really isn't common. That said it does give him a touch more credibility as an interim manager, I was thinking that sounded like the biggest ego trip ever.
