Lee Johnson is like marmite,a small jar,you love it or hate it but it has it's uses.

After reading this article it seems there is no way he is going to Yeovil,he will be moving on,he respects Delboy,he's given his heart and soul for BCFC and he would never ask his son to work for him.

No sour grapes, talks common sense and is a very sensible, fair minded bloke,I respect him and wish him well.

What you can never deny about LJ is his commitment to us and the fact he seems a really top bloke.

I like marmite and I like LJ. Don't think he always had a fair deal from City fans and to be honest his performances dipped after he lost a henchman next to him. Good professional who has never said a bad word about our team. I wish him the success he brought to us.

Top pro for BCFC, did well for us and was wrongly slaughtered by some as Ashton Gate.
We know he was not renowned for his heading or tackling.......but had good vision, had a good football brain and was good at keeping the ball moving and 85% of the time delivering a good pass.
For me, will be remembered as a tidy footballer and through all the stick he had continued in a very professional manner.....Good luck to the lad..

Top bloke, decent footballer - nowhere near as bad as people thought. Always gave his all for City. A big part of getting us promoted so should always be remembered for that....

LC full respect regards your comments on the sky site.Always rated you, great pass, good football brain, but out muscled many times in the championship.

He would be a great addition to any L1 side.

Must disagree with the 'marmite' analagy because that infers you either love or hate him - I thought he was a reasonable NPC player that's all.
What I did HATE though was the abuse he took.
The very best of luck to him. Very professional bloke - not many in football tbh.

ADicks - Yesterday you were calling 1For rubbish, today he's your mate. I'm not having this - he's my mate.
Marmite - divides fans 50/50 yet only one manager in the Football League loves Marmite.

    ADicks - Now you've made me upset 1For - You Homewrecker !

'He would be a great addition to any L1 side' - But not Chesterfield.

    1For - Can you forgive me ?<peacedove>

For your imfo Adicks........Redprintt & I used to be at eachothers throats on old 606..........in fact there were mighty clashes between Hanu, Redprintt & me over GJ & LJ.
But most of the time I believe we do see eye to eye as we both are knocking on a bit, managed clubs & businesses and most of the time appear to have common sense....unlike some on here.

Yes most things are about opinions but there are times when certain things are so obvious that it's annoying when idiots come on here sprouting rubbish.

At the end of the day, we all want whats best for our beloved club........I for one want to see the club progress quickly while we still have SL on board...........it won't be forever that's for sure.

Redprintt: I forgive you mate......but I think you need to give a bit of credit to LJ, even I believe you don't think he's as bad as you make him out to be!!!!

Yes your right, it is about opinions, i've probably been around a fair few more years than you, managed clubs from Junior, Youth & Senior, i don't profess to know everything about football, but think i have a good knowledge of the game.
You will never see me calling people idiots, because whatever people say thats there opinion, you come across as someone thats above most posters on here, some posters may not agree, some may, thats there opinion, yes.

Of course he's not as bad as I make out( hope Redside's not reading this) and you will admit on the old 606 I actually posted an article congratulating him, think it was Saints away first year back in the Championship.
BUT and you knew there would be a but, what really stuck in my craw was (for me) the clear favouritism shown to LJ by GJ.
Not in L1 but certainly in the Championship. To be fair I don't think it did LJ or the team any favours either in the long run.
My honest opinion of LJ is L1 and I believe that's where he'll start next season.

'At the end of the day, we all want whats best for our beloved club........' Amen.
