About to be appointed as the new Barnsley manager. Good move for him, Oldham have one of the smallest budgets in league 1 and he has done a great job for them. Can't see Barnsley getting promoted this season but he has a great chance to get promoted next year and I hope he does!

Looks like Johnson junior will be back at the gate with Barnsley as their new manager later in the season.

    Job spec for Barnsley manager.

Close and endearing association with Bristol City F C.

Its only because he's the only manager you don't have to look up to for a chat. :)

By who? People of Doncaster maybe

Worse manager ever to grace Ashton Gate, if he stayed any longer we would of been in league 2.

When did we look any good in any of his games in charge? And you still think he was sold out. He probably spent more than Cotterill on players if you take the Baldock deal into consideration.

Well done little Lee, I liked him even more when I saw how rattled my mate Redprint gets with him.

Just don't do well at our place please Lee

I see Oldham want Paul Scholes! Would be a brilliant replacement if they can get him. They'll be able to better most league 1 teams for signings during the summer, can imagine every young up coming player would want to play under him!

Those SOD days are probably the worst I've ever experienced watching City.

I know I had a go at Cotts in another thread but what he's achieved, his attitude and personality is brilliant.

I agree LAN, in sixty five years, SOD has been the worst manager IMO at City.

Yep, they don't come much worse than SOD and watching that video again reminded me of just how bad it ****ing was! My god he's so ****ing boring to listen too, it's no wonder we were bottom of the league if our players had to be managed by that boring ****er!
