Think this will be a good appointment. Burnley are certainly a club who operate sensibly and have strict budgets. I imagine he was integral in supporting this from a CEO level. Hope Hoos installs this ethos within our club. Best of luck to him.
Hoos on first? Seems he didn't get on with Pearson at Leicester years ago. That puts him up in my estimation.
Obviously a big money signing (but on this I have little argument, we need someone to sort out the problem, so will have to pay for that, but if he does that he is worth the money...in this case I think you have to pay for what you get). I also hope/believe that Hoos must know exactly our position re FFP, and if it was dire, he wouldn't touch us with a barge pole.....so that too is optimistic ....but things are moving fast and positively...which is a very good sign. There will be no excuse that they are ill prepared this time. Now the management is in place....sort out the players, which is afterall the biggest problem. That needs to be sorted out very quickly...so we should know by this time next week, who is going, and who we are trying to hang on to More optimistic than I have been for weeks Come on uRRRS
Oh dear, we cannot even do that correctly! See below Burnley chief executive Lee Hoos to leave club and join QPR... but London club left red faced after photoshop gaffe http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...tml?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490
He used to be our chief executive and he caused Nigel Pearson to quit. He tried getting rid of people who had been connected with the club for years purely to save a few pennies when it just caused friction with the fans. He doesnt understand football
....and that makes him a tosspot does it? Seeing as he has been at Burnley since December 2011 you are obviously basing your opinion on things that happened years ago.......Can't say I've noticed that Burnley are in meltdown, they seem a stable well run club......
Had a look on a Burnley fan site. Nothing detrimental written about him in over 40 posts. The most common comment was that if Hoos was looking for a challenge, he's got it in spades at QPR. Burnley FC quoting personal reasons for Hoos leaving - he has family in South-East England apparently
