Lee Holmes is a great signing for you, we (Oxford) had him on loan last season and he was FAR too good for league 2. All the best next season, I reckon you'll do very well.

Exciting all this, isn't it maclad? A bit like deja vu looking at your BBC webpage and this board. Who are these people? Are they any good? Can they all play together? How can we replace everyone we got rid of? Is it going to be a disaster to make this many changes? Well, it wasn't for us, that's for sure.

I suppose it is good that he has brought them in just before pre-season training rather than signing players on a week before the season starts. GW has time to make them gel.
Yes Barnet get them in early, remember Simmo bringing in Carter and Nicholls 2 days before the season started. Suspect not many more to come all business done by middle of June except for out goings
Talking of Simmo, he made the mistake of bringing 3 players at Christmas who, although they had been good players, were not match fit & what had been a fairly successful team almost fell to bits from that time to the end of the season.
This is my view Barnet Simmo was possibly the closet manager to taking us up to the Promised Land we'd gone top, however the rot set in when he sold Alex to tBurnley and then we lost 8 out of the last 10 games of the season. Bad apples they certainly were.
Lee Holmes is a very good player and you can expect someone that will always give his all. Just needs to brig his fitness up after a couple of nasty injuries in the past. All the best!
