Lee Harper, most recently the player-manager of Kettering, showed something when we beat them 5-1 that most other players don't, at least most professional players. I was just thinking about it. When the ball boy had gone to get the ball he got his foot trapped in the advertisement boards. Lee then went over to help, would many professional players do that? I know it is very basic, but I think that shows bad attitude and the general bad attitude in football stems from having an attitude like that.
I'm try really hard to make sense of your thread danny. Do you mean the current attitude of star players or do you mean the game feels dirty or the fact a player manager had noticed a ball boy was struggling and he had done what most wouldn't do??? soz mate
Sorry I knew what I wanted to say but couldn't get it out without making my thread pointless and stupid. The fact that a player-manager noticed a ball boy struggling AND took action, can you imagine Kasper sprinting over to the touch line before taking his goal kick last season and helping out. We need more players like Lee.
I know most players are overpaid,up their own arse & detached from reality but they're not animals. I think most would go & help.
