Apologies for not having a link, but someone commented on Gillingham FansOnline that a sunday paper has reported that Gillingham are apparently trying to hijack Rotherham United's attempt to sign him on a permanent deal in January. Frecklington was at Lincoln City for several seasons and credits John Schofield for shaping his career. Also, close friends with Chris Whelpdale and Charlie Lee. Currently at Peterborough and maybe he can be persuaded to come to us instead of Rotherham United? Personally, I think he would be another excellent addition to a squad already full of quality.
I think that would be a good signing, don't know how much we should pay or what he would be available for though.
