Bit bemused - he didn't exactly set the world alight in his first loan spell. Hasn't he had lots of injuries since? He has a great left foot, but just never thought he ran at defenders enough.
oh dear oh dear. prove me wrong lee... but im still fuming at your peformances in your last loan spell.
I was shocked when I read this on the O/S two mins ago... For me Lee Cook is in the bracket of loan signings (along with Sinclair / Omozusi as to why the loan market doesnt work) CP must definitely only see Evina as a LB rather than a Winger though
Apparently the Clarke deal happened as Crawley offered a sizable sum for a short term loan. Board took it to CP who had final say, but they thought it was a very good offer. I hope he does well now, Crawley do have some spending power so fingers crossed he can up his value.
for some reason im actually quite excited by n`guessan....think he will do ok at this level...will get chances...just whether he can finish them lee cook was cack 4 years ago...done nothing since...going to be slower than he was (which was pretty slow!) and that wand of a left foot...if he cant get on the ball in dangerous positions then it just doesnt come into the equation pants...prove me wrong as i also said this about kermit (doh! but with a lot less info)
What is it with everyone, give the bloke a chance.Scott Sinclair was cack for us but he is doing alright with Swansea in the Premiership.I think some Charlton fans just like moaning.
I'm going to give him a second chance! Last time he came here the club was going backwards and he was trying to get himself match fit to force a return to the QPR squad. This time its different, he hasn't had a look in at QPR and we could very well be in the same league as them next year and with a great atmosphere around the club at the minute players should be able to come here and not be afraid to express themselves on the pitch the thing most were scared to do during our relegation campaigns. Also he provides cover for Jackson who has a few injuries. I'd rather have a natural replacement than having to shift someone like Waggy or Green out there
Just to remind ourselves that Callum Harriott is a left sided player who came through the ranks, has been a pro for over a year , came in at the end of last season, played well and who expected, not without reason, to feature this season. He can play a bit too.
Dead right, FHB and yes, he is injured at the moment. IMO, desperately unlucky not to have featured this season - he was one of the very few highlights of last season's dismal showing.
This all smells like Pardew to me! I know the loan window shuts on Thursday, i know we would moan if we cocked it up due to injuries but this almost looks like panic buying!
If he was signed as a striker I would have preferred Clarke, like, least Clarke has scored a few goals, wikipedia has just 26 league goals ever for N'guessen...
