You Guys should look at Lee Clark for next manager. He did a great job at Huddersfield, playing good football. One of the best young managers in England I think..
he did - interestingly it all fell apart once clark left, but it wasn't exactly amazing before he left either
Aslong as we don't end up with Alex Mcleish as his assistant is Peter Grant, again nice bloke (Peter)
poor results, lack of ambition to win games when drawing, lack of improvement despite major spending, bust ups with players, bust ups with journalists, arrogance with nothing to back it up with...
Er no thanks, we can do better if he was assistant when mcnally was there, maybe more of a link, but things have changed.
check out how many draws he had though! and some of the teams they couldn't beat were really poor. i know quite a few huddersfield fans and they all wanted him out during the unbeaten run. one to avoid.
I don't know, I seem to remember it was only going very nicely when they first came to the club, wasn't it something like a 14 match unbeaten run that saved us that year? "In Glenn We Trust" became the mantra and things were looking pretty rosey and I thought things all suddenly went wrong when Clarke left, not saying it was the only reason though of course.
Malky Mackay would be the sort of appointment I would say is taking Norwich in the right direction, I doubt Holloway would leave Blackpool and there isn't a great deal of good managers in the championship with enough pedigree or potential. Di Matteo would be a good shout if things don't work out for him at Chelski
see i understand why malky mackay is high up on the shortlist with many fans, but i do wonder whether he'd be quite so high if he'd never played for norwich? is he really that good a manager? i think he shows promise but i think there are at least 5 managers who i'd appoint before i considered him.
Supers I'd much prefer Poyet, Larry or Hughton - I think a lot of the persuasion towards Malky is that he was a hero as a player here. He's done a reasonable job at Watford and Cardiff but I think that any one of my three choices would be a "better fit".
It's just the sort of punt you made with Lambert and look where he led you, I'm not saying you need to have blind faith but Malky made a good team of Watford and brought together a Cardiff team to play good football when the rest of the country thought they were heading for destruction. I agree there are better managers but with the likes of WBA and Swansea looking for new Gaffers it'll be interesting to see who the movers and the shakers are
