Did he give any decent reasons? Or was the conversation really that short :p
I thought he did a fairly respectable job last season. Like I said tho he would have to prove himself first

Thought they should have been promoted by now. Was annoyed with the play off final performance and team selection I think. Said he tries to play football in the right way but it isn't working.

Yeah I can understand why a 3-0 loss in a play off final would hurt, but every season he does better and better and for his first Managerial job (correct me if im wrong of course) I think hes doing a good job...

Then again no-one knows best then the fans right? Its their club. Generally of course.

I'd be far happier having Clark as a future manager (if he's attained success in the lower leagues) than Shearer.

Clark has gone about learning the trade at lower levels and will have the experience whilst Shearer still seems to have this presumption that he can just hop off the pundits chair and get a highly placed managers position.

Completely agree with this, first hand experience is better then anything else you have do imo. I got a degree and finished it thinking...what a waste of money...I could have been in my industry meeting contacts and gaining experience instead of in a lecture hall falling asleep as they told me sound travels in waves...
