Gritty player who would have worked well alongside Whitts - complete opposites. Maybe over the top (like his tackling sometimes) to say he was the answer in our midfield, but he would have done us a good job. Age now 34 means we've probably seen his best, but he was a Prem player last year, and at Championship level he'd be fine even if only for this coming season whilst the other youngsters Malky is buying bed in.
He's a bit old and there is something about him (probably that he appears to be a complete twat) which makes me not like him so I'm not really too bothered!

Is it me or what.....we do not seem to be signing anyone big and chunky. Routledge is another small player, as talented as he is. We need a big bruiser!
