It speaks volumes that he is speaking to Jim White before speaking to Lee Bowyer.

What an absolute nonsense chain of events yesterday.

I'll be very disappointed in Bowyer if he does not tell the madman to f*** off.

It is plain now to everybody that Roland Duchatelet has no footballing ambitions for Charlton Athletic whatsoever.

His only target is for the Club to break even.
But he can't do that in the Championship.
That's why he did not want Lee Bowyer to win promotion last season.

Six months ago I posted one of the reasons (aside from the obvious one) why I wanted Charlton promoted - so the spot-light would be back on RD. He would be forced to back Bowyer properly, or betray himself as the penny-pinching, mean spirited old bastard that most of us already knew he was.

Unwittingly Roland has united Charlton fans once again - at least in their contempt of him.
There are no apologists anymore. Everybody now sees him for what he is and wants him gone.

What is he going to say to Jim White?
Just more drivel about how crazy the finances are in English football (as if that was kept secret from him) and probably some feeble pops at Lee Bowyer that no Charlton fan is going to believe.
All that guff about Kermorgant and Powell and Wilder is about to be repeated, this time with Bowyer as the fall guy. Roland is a sad, deluded old git.
And Jim will bluster a bit (his idea of tough interviewing) then simper all over the Belgian.

Let Simon Jordan loose on the old scrote again. I'd pay money to listen to that.

Yesterday I felt the way about Bowyer the way many felt when Powell was bolted.

The sheer injustice of LB having an owner like Duchatelet- after all he achieved last season on peanuts. Those scenes at Wembley and in the dressing room after - as we knew all along, Duchatelet couldn’t have cared less.

I feel all fans should return their season tickets as a show of their disgust in the Belgian.

The club is more saleable with Bowyer as manager, anyone can see that. RD's statement is such a tissue of lies surely not even Patsy Jim White will believe any of it. No-one believes that he is serious when he says he will sell the club. You just don't know where to begin.

His Talk ****e interview this morning will inevitably make things worse.

Jim White guaranteed to feed him a gentle lob like “the Charlton fans are angry with you Roland” ....cue “they are criminals blah blah blah”.

No word from Judas Murray again during another incident of total shame.

I've sent a message on twitter to Jim White outlining the situation, but don't hold out much hope of him challenging RD's lies.

Murray can feck off back to Wolves. He's almost as culpable as RD.

Prospective signings will be looking at this fiasco and thinking “no thanks”.

Red Henry can’t possibly know that <doh><doh>

Either Duchatelet apologises today or Bowyer swallows his pride. I can’t see either happening.

He's punishing Bowyer for getting us into the Championship, which he hates. He tried to scupper our season by selling Grant then putting the kybosh on a deal to get a striker in, saying we had enough strikers already. He wants to cut his losses and get us back to L1 ASAP, where he can achieve his dream of breaking even.

Dave White said the same thing. Duchatelet never wanted the inconvenience of promotion, because of the demands to increase costs.
