    Regarding Lee Bowyer-

As is always the case with our fan base, we have a split.

Some see LB as the best chance we have of keeping our head above water under this demented owner. According to them, Bow is performing miracles with the loaves & fishes.

The other group think he has started to make mistakes and his inexperience is showing. His frankly arrogant & laddish comments after the Donny game haven’t helped him at all. I for one would have gone to Blackpool yesterday but spending over 200 notes on a manager who says he “isn’t fussed” about losing a game is a bit of a downer.

If we'd won yesterday all would have been forgiven, but we lost, and Donny had a great win. Hopefully Bowyer has learned something from this, and if he hasn't that is bad news.

He is becoming like Robinson with his intransigent formation. The diamond is not working. Good coaches should be able to adapt. It seems like Bowyer is more like Robinson than we thought.

If we lose to Portsmouth as well (and we probably will) his FA Cup decision and comments we look even more stupid.

Realistically it would be Jackson’s turn next, so we would be no better off without him. We haven’t got to anywhere near that stage with LB yet ...it will be interesting to see what happens if a player is sold underneath him in January.

Ffs if Bowyer would be sacked Duchatelet will be turning to Ivor, he has a vast knowledge of coaching and scouting.

People need to realise that Bowyer and Jackson are novices, coupled with wtf is going to succeed with the Chairman that we have.

As I have said before, I do not think Bowyer has done a bad job so far.

Bowyer's job is safe as long as he wants it, which is probably until the end of the season. The manager's job next season is a poison chalice unless there is a takeover.

People say who would want to come to Charlton, you will ALWAYS get somebody who needs a job and will take anything.

I would imagine Bowyer will keep the job for as long as he wants it, as much as it pains me to say it as I like Bowyer, he is another body that took the job knowing the s*** that goes with it.

I liked Bowyer up until his behaviour & comments last week - both of which stank.

Let’s hope it was a one off.

Can I just say, what a great decision by Lee Bowyer to rest players in that meaningless cup tie.

Bowyer called it "A real man's performance". Andy Nelson would have liked that one.

It's true that he was revered at Charlton for about 4 years or so before it all turned sour, and he became, to my knowledge, the only manager to be sacked twice by the club. Joe Riga doesn't quite qualify, he resigned second time before he could get sacked.

Jose Riga also doesn't qualify because he was never Charlton's Manager - he was Head Coach.
Not just semantics in my opinion (or in RD's view either presumably). There is a real difference.

Tbh Royston I'd like to see bowyer give it back to the fa cup lovers.
If we've got a couple of players who started against pompey out Saturday.
    Something along the lines of.
"Have that you fa cup lovers , just beaten top of the table only thier 2nd loss this season and another 2 players out injured.
That's why were not doing the fa cup , the 7000 we would of got if man city in the 3rd round feel free to make the journey up to Barnsley the week before".
