Not really a good weekend for the management team. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to change. But the stupid fuc%up in the tranfer window is his pony as much as RDs. It'll take some nifty motivation to turn this round.

Can’t see how Bowyer can be blamed Ken ??

He wanted to shop in Selfridges but was given 5p pocket money.

Ajose, Grant and then Clarke were all out the door before a single name put pen to paper. Bristol and Bolton refused to releae their players as they didn't get their signings in. So why did we release all three when we had no one ready to come in. I agree re the money, but Bowyer needed to be a lot smarter. In the end the manager is Bowyer.

I'm surprised Clarke wasn't given some sort of game time to see how he did, especially with Fosu in such poor form. Ajose had already outstayed his welcome, and Roland was never going to refuse Udders' dosh.

Bowyer's contract runs out in the summer, like half the squad and also Jacko. The odds must be against him taking on mission impossible next season( in L1), and the assumption that Jacko will step in may not happen. He is a very intelligent man, and I expect him to be looking at managerial vacancies with a realistic chance of success, maybe with a view to returning here later. Our future is precarious.

Bowyer was grateful to take this job given his inexperience. However, things have changed as he has shown he can do a job, he'll get offers in the summer if he puts his name out he's open to a move.

Bowyer owns a business in France & has young twins. He doesn’t need to work. If we did get promoted & Duchatelet stayed, we would be absolute cannon fodder in the Championship next season. Imagine going to places like Aston Villa or Fulham or maybe even Newcastle. It would be horrible. I can see Bowyer walking away this summer regardless of promotion if the Belgian minge stays.

You keep parroting that first line despite knowing it to be nonsense.

    Absolute twaddle Mr Brown Nose.

Who else would have given him the job of managing a professional football club...................and having been out of the game for many years.

Bowyer has already said he only came back to football after a personal appeal from Robinson <doh>

    He doesn’t need the money
He’s got a young family & outside interests.

You make him sound like Machiavelli.

The fact he does not need the money is irrelevant to what I am saying.

The geezer knows what this mob are all about, remember that he was here when squirrel face was around.

You can't judge a man by the bloke he works for. Before I ended up in Royal Mail I had one or two bosses you wouldn't want to know, including a South London villain from Petts Wood, who has done 3 prison stretches. A smashing bloke by the way.
Bowyer Bowyer's not looking for sympathy, so what point are you making?

Loved him on Spitting Image. Some great characters there, Ronnie was the star, with honourable mentions to the Welsh Windbag, Roy Hattersley and of course Mrs T. There is so much potential in today's politicians for satire, but maybe they are doing the job themselves.

It was not nonsense, or are you trying to say he took the job to do us a favour?
