I was slightly concerned this would be a thread linking us to him! It is a shame when anyone is forced out - but I think with King, you have to just give credit where it's due - most other people in his situation would have retired a long time ago. He has put himself through a lot to try and keep his career going - and for the most part - it's worked. Good luck to him.
Good player and always seemed like a top man - a welcome antidote to many of the Premier League's flash twats. Glad he got a few more years out of his knees than he might have expected.
Big shame but not a surprise at all. Ledley King did very well to have the career he had. Good luck in the future to him.
No suprise but still a shame for the bloke. Injury blighted what could have been a successful career for club and country.
I don't know what Tottenham were doing to the kids a few years back, but Thelwell, Gardner, and King all came through the youth ranks in a short space of time.
