Greatest defender I've ever seen, I highly doubt I'll see a better CB pull on the Lilywhite shirt. Mr Tottenham Hotspur.
And could have made one of England's best ever DM's - he was awesome there at International level (2004/5?). Certainly would have won a load more caps with the quality and versatility he had. Top Man!!
http://www.bbc.co.uk/schoolreport/21861036 Ledley has been everywhere. Another article on the BBC and had a spot in the Paper I read on the way home last night. Never knew he was so chatty!
Wish he hadn't mentioned title tilt tbh, having never finished in an auto CL place! stranger things have happened I know, but this is definitely in the strange category, we're not outdoing United over 38 games anytime soon.
Are knee transplants possible? I'd happily give him one of my knees if it meant seeing him back in a Spurs shirt for another few years. I miss Ledley His surname befitted such a wonderfully talented player.
Sort of. False knees are possible just like hip replacements. And about the only thing you can't do with them is high impact sport like football. Shame. Big 'king shame.
I think the team needs to win a Europa league or FA cup to even begin to have the belief in themselves that is necasary. Look at City, UTD (under fergie) and Chelsea. All won other trophies first before winning the Prem. However- THe squad is not a million miles away from being good enough. I think another RB, 2wingers, 2creative mids and some strikers that know how to score simple goals and we could challenge.
I think many of the prem teams could make the same claim if they were able to replace 2 thirds of their squads also lol
I think Ledley talking up the team at this point, when they're struggling, is very ambassadorial. If enough people believe it, (owners, sponsors, etc.) they can make it true, and it's good to know someone's trying to spur on the believers. (Not to say I think it's in any way likely...) Besides, people rubbishing Spurs' chances of winning the title in two years may distract them from piling on negative articles and comments based on recent performances.
