...does not seem to be Michael Laudrup's policy. Lita and Tatey both left out of the trip to Holland, along with Kemy, Obeng and Moore. Now the Lita and Tatey exclusions don't surprise me, nor does the Obeng one because I think he'll go out on loan, but I was surprised to see Kemy amd Moore left out - I guess Kemy has run out of chances. But surely we shouldn't offload Moore until we are sure that we have a striker?

Moore is almost becoming as great an enigma as Bartley. I always thought that Laudrup inherited Bartley but it seems as though he wanted him here. Ever more it begs the question of what is going on with these players because the manager said some nice things about Moore when he stepped up and got a couple of goals. Dark things going on in training?

I wonder if Laudrup must be quite confident about getting hold of some strikers before the end of August if he is showing our only natural striker the door!

ML is going to say nice things about players to boost their confidence - goes for any coach and manager. Fact is Agustien is a hit or miss and has been too much of a miss. Moore teases that there's more to come but is there really. Bartley .... mystery man. NJ responded with some insight on another thread but clearly he, Moore, Agustien were part of what ML learned from the 'Pool thrashing.

Moore has either been left behind because he is injured or decidedly not part of the future and we are either going with a posse of False 9's or a striker or two are inbound soon.

what I have heard is that Moore on the training ground is awesome but fails to deliver on the pitch. That's why every manager shows faith in him at the start

Luke Moore is the biggest shock there. Laudrup really must have confidence we'll get some new strikers in.

Sad about Kemy. I still think he has it in him to deliver in the PL.

I'm not surprised Luke is on his way. <if Swansea wants to push on to the next level players like Luke and Kemy needs to go.

Gutted for Moore ,I rate him and think he is a good cheap option for 3rd striker,he is also British . I guess we sOrt of knew this was going to happen when he dropped him for itay when he had his most productive spell with us.

Maybe these boys have come back not fit enough? The players were given their programs to follow went they?

Bit of a strange one I guess .

I've said before, Moore is a wast of space, just look at his sum total of goals, if that's his ambition, then he has got what he deserves, no sympathy from me! League 1 player at best....................<ok>

luke moore has a hamstring injury at the moment and is having treatment so he is not fit to play in any friendlies yet. he could have gone just for the trip but decided not to....thats what i was told anyway....the rest are surplus to requirements and tate is about to go out on loan...

"League 1 at best" is incredibly harsh on Moore. I'd like to see him remain with us as a squad player, he has chipped in with a few important goals, albeit "few" in the very slightest definition.
He does show some sublime touches on occasion too, if you watch the the first goal in our 2-0 win at the Emirates last season his ball through to Michu is a beautiful thing to behold!
I think sometimes we can all too quickly label a player "rubbish" if he becomes surplus to requirements, if Luke does leave, I wish him all the best for the future and will always remember his time with us fondly...unlike the crying Man City fan!!!

Moore plays well for one game then goes missing for two. He can not be relied upon to put in 100% in any game he plays.

ML lost patience with Moore last January telling him that he should look for another club. This didn't happen due to the Graham scenario and the rest is history.

Since Jan, apparently, Moore has made little effort to look for another club and put in less in training hence ML's reluctance to pick him even when he appeard to be on form. ML has effectively told Moore that he will play a bit part at best due to his frustrating inconsistency.

Kemmy, I feel for this guy, simply isnt fit due to missing pre-seasons and having had so many injuries.

Some one not telling the whole story then

A number of clubs have been alerted to the availability of Swansea striker Luke Moore after he was left out of their pre-season tour of Holland.

The 27-year-old has a year left on his current deal but could be set to depart the Liberty Stadium after Michael Laudrup opted to leave him behind.

Moore played 16 times for the Swans in the Premier League last season, scoring three times, and the decision by Laudrup is understood to have taken the player by surprise.

Moore's agent Peter Morrison, of James Grant Group, confirmed to Sky Sports: "Luke is obviously disappointed not to have been included on the pre-season trip.

"However, he has a very professional outlook so will be keeping his head down and working on his fitness to make sure he is in peak condition for the start of the season.

"We have had enquiries from a number of clubs and, if an opportunity comes up that is right for both Luke and Swansea City, then we will look at it but he is contracted until the end of the season so he will remain focused and committed to the club until he is told otherwise."

Stoke, Hull City, Crystal Palace, Leicester, Blackburn and Wigan are all thought to be interested in Moore.

I have never rated this guy, though I've noted some on here have, what they see, I really do not know, but in my opinion, he is no striker, glad he's on his way out, no wonder the baggies were glad to dump him on us!....................<ok>
