Is it their decision to make, or do their government perhaps have a voice in running things too? How would it be if a group here suggested a reciprocal scheme? I reckon there'd be a fair bit of tutting in a few quarters.

That citizenship has to count for something otherwise we can scrap it and international law.

but not the law in that country? you commit an offence in a foreign country but they can't prosecute you? just send you back to you county of origin?
