UK law is UK law, and the point we're discussing is the safeguarding of a British child.

Who is only at best part British, and born and living abroad. It just doesn't work how you'd like it to.

Broaden it out to the many others, and you'd end up draining much needed resources.

Let hope that they never have any dealings or are affected in any such form as to change their views. Leave them in their safe space to watch Sky TV.

i'm calling bullshit on every single one of them. If any of them were ever affected by any terror attack of any kind, each and every single one of them would change their tune.

Let them deny that.

I can’t speak for anybody else, but regardless of whether it affects me personally or not these people denied folk of their basic human rights and as a bare minimum they should be stripped of theirs.

Let's see what happens first, her turning up or you winning the lottery. At least we know each other's position when she does <ok>

I'm not the one arguing from the position that she's already won it.

This is also a stupid argument as has been discussed before.

There’s a difference between what one would want as a victim or family of a victim and what is right by the law.

That's a fair point, it's not always practical but this isn't about how you or I would like it, but by the laws we abide by.

You can't pick and choose though. You express your worries about broadening out a less concerning problem of new-born babies and minors out there but fail to broaden out the long term problems of leaving the greater threat of hundreds, if not thousands of potential terrorists free to roam and cost us one way or another in many ways later on.

I mentioned your claim about the terrorist threat earlier, when I pointed out that she and the other Brits were radicalised here and the prisons are rife with it, which kind of dilutes your claim that we're safer bringing them back.

Neither am I. And even if I was, you do understand that's not the same as advocating for her.

You're expecting a lot of that one child that you're advocating for separation from it's mam and dad and arguably one or more of it's homelands, without knowing if that would be legal in reality. It may just end up a tad bitter your way.

Nowt dodgy about my defence of the law. Thankfully we don't all make judgements down the barrel of a gun, while talking derogatory of women.
thankfully who know **** all about the law, and have never touched a gun.

stick to what you do best mate.

Did you? All you posted was "Her being here initially hardly works well for your argument on the future threat there."

In that one reply perhaps, but I've mentioned the other bits before. Either way, at least you get the point.
