Least deserved booking ever?

Now you all know how I go on about our players getting booked for less than the oppposition and not getting fouls for identical incidents in the same game but this story tickled me a little:

Booked for breaking his leg: Luton's Cameron McGeehan sees yellow after pounding the Fratton Park pitch in agony during defeat at Portsmouth

Luton midfielder Cameron McGeehan picked up the most ridiculous yellow card of the festive period on Monday when he was booked for his reaction to breaking his leg at Fratton Park.

McGeehan was injured in a tackle with Portsmouth's Michael Doyle in the first half of the League Two encounter on the south coast and punched the pitch in agony as he was seen to by the Hatters' medical staff and paramedics.

Referee Tim Robinson took issue with the playmaker's conduct, however, and noted McGeehan's name before he was taken down the tunnel on a stretcher

Or you get booked
Even with a broken leg

 

That ref must be a real ****wit..

 

Totally sums up the standard of referees we have in this country. Shocking!

 

I once heard a rumour that some bloke with toothache got arrested for punching a horse.


Everyone knows toothache knacks.

 

There must have been some amount of tooth ache at the Sports Direct Arena and in the Bigg Market on that day
