Maybe just the bottom 1 in a league gets automatically relegated and the top 1 in the league below gets automatically promoted. The other 2 places could be up for grabs depending on the relative profit/loss. Just a thought. I'd feel a bit guilty if I got promoted having made a loss and took the place of someone who got relegated because they had the lowest profit in the league.
Yeah I thought about making it a smaller change at the L3 level Ron. The problem we have is that some weeks, some can't get there. There are often different players each week. I even thought of reverting to just the 2 moving each week, but decided to stick with the 3 for the volatility. I can't remember who it was (might have been Red) who said he really liked it as it was because he'd gone L1, L2, L3, L2, in successive weeks. I'm just hoping that having just the three in L3 might attract a few others looking for the easy ride. Sometimes I don't know whether I'm coming or going.
