Leagues Comp. Week 52 Results.

Well the good horses came out to play yesterday, but few of us knew too much about them. With the exception of Sizing who had a very nice day, and Weyward who broke even, all finished in the hole. Dex made a valiant effort, just failing by 20p to break even, but in the end had to play second fiddle to Weyward's even money return in L1. Onya Weyward.

L1 was a real mixed bag. In reality it was just a bag of **** with a diamond hidden in it. Sizing was brilliant. Two very nice winners gave him a handy return of 16.80, allowing him to not only win L2, but easily account for everyone else's efforts on the day. Well done mate. Sparky was the only other person in L2 to hit a winner so he went up. Both Chanin and Ron won promotion on the back of utter failure. As I sit here, I have a huge grin on my face at the though of it all. It's a wonderful way for me to draw down the curtain on my running of the comp.

Cyc great stuff mate

thread will be up next Friday. Don't see any reason to change anything (unless anyone has any wonderful ideas ?) from what Cyc has done as it is a great comp. I will just give our Aussie friend a break from doing the results.

How did I get promoted? I expected to be bottom of L2.

Ron, as indicated L2 had a shocker. Of the 8 who played, only 2 got a winner, so that meant because 4 were to be promoted, 2 scoreless players got lucky. Chanin had 60 points, you 40, Oddy 30, BJM 20, Percy, 20 and Humans 20, so Chanin and you were the best losers.
