As the great Stickman said last week, it was nice to get one in the back of the net after hitting the woodwork a couple of times. He's in purple form at the moment and will take some running down again. The big fear for those in L1 is that Stick will string a few wins together and make life uncomfortable for all and sundry. STH has escaped L2 and will be all out to add to his impressive list of wins. Smoke and the ex cyclist Oddy have joined the L1 fight and will be keen to add their name to the winner's list, as will both Redcat & Busty. The bossman Ron will be all out to refine his tipping technique. Last week he spent all his lollies on a five horse race with a fours on shot as favourite. If he could get the hot pot rolled, he'd be in with a real shout. Ron of course had the winner, but as it only paid 1:10 on the giddy goat, he took a bath. Ron, if you could expend as much energy moving forward as running up and down on the spot, you'd be a sensation. On the positive side though, you did at least score a winner, which was more that some others were capable of. Steveo missed the battle of the big boys by a whisker last time around, but despite that, L1 looks pretty heavy this week, so the best of luck to those in the battle.
