Yes I have one of these. I'm there now.
First up, a big hello to our two, new combatants Redcat & Paul, welcome to the dog fight boys. <laugh> Again L1 proved to be the poison chalice. After a big win last week, Stick took a bath and along with Reebs, dropped to L2. The L1 belt this week went to Steveo who nailed a double and returned the biggest total. The win also gives Steveo his second L1 title. Well done mate. <applause> Our two newbies book ended L2. Redcat exploded out the gate and ended up with four winners. They were all short, but it got the job done. At he other end of the scale, Paul whipped them in at his first attempt. Oddy felt the pain again this week. Dex was a non runner.

Well done Steveo. Wooly knocking on the door again. I see you picked a better race than me Cyc; just <laugh>. Looking at all the scores, we're both lucky to still be in L1.

Good start Red. From non league into L2 and promoted at the first attempt - just like Wycombe. And next week I'll probably be back in L2 - just like Wycombe. <laugh>

Thanks again Cyc <cheers>

I was at the CAMRA Cider and Real Ale Festival in the Ulster Hall yesterday from 11.30.

I tried posting from my wife's Nexus 7,several times, but no joy..I gave up after several pints of Doom Bar!

Well done the winners and a warm welcome to the new players.

Cheers as always Cyc.

Cyc is there a record for the most consecutive weeks with 0 return? If not, I am certainly in the process of setting one <laugh>

Don't worry though, I'll be popping up with the Hennessy winner next week ;)

I have a plan Oddy where at least one of us is guaranteed to top League 1 (at some stage).

We find a 10 horse race. You pick 5 and I pick the other 5. One day, between us, we'll get a good priced winner

I find this particularly ironic as you are supposed to be a NH man.

Must admit I am yet to get a NH selection to draw for me.

Oddy, the good new is that you've had 5 weeks of nothings, the bad news is that you missed a week in the middle of the run. <laugh> 5 zeros in a row is a fantastic record though, it's a wonderful accomplishment. Added to this, you've had two other nothings, so in total you've amassed 7 glorious, nil returns. Fabio had a shocking start, he scored 6 nothings in the first 8 weeks before he pulled the pin, so you've moved to the top pile. <applause>

No doubt about it Oddy, nobody can match that 5 in a row. When it comes to this competition, you are the best loser we're ever seen. What an honour it is to have a man of your quality playing each week. I hope you don't start padding out your record by choosing some dead beats from now on. You've earned this wonderful record on merit, you should be proud of your efforts, so it would be a shame to see all that hard work cheapened by some dodgy selections. :)

Certainly not Cyc, I shall be employing all my wit and cunning in search of winners. Odds-on shots, runners from top yards, well-fancied horses - I can get them all beat <ok>

Oddy, your 5 nil points is probably less embarrassing than 1 nil point for me
