    How many fans here would take 17th now? Yes I know at the start of the season you would but we were slowly climbing our way up the table but now with shortage of strikers I cant see us grabbing many goals until maybe Gosling and Ben Arfa return.

    So there are reports on nufcblog that Pardew can look for free agents, so is there any strikers who are free agents and if so would you take them?

    Also where do you think we will finish? Ill say 13th

    I would take 17th if it meant staying up this season, said that from summer and weirdly said it to my mate (Liverpool fan) today who decided to bang on about Carroll. Anything above that was always a bonus!

    Anywhere between 10th and 15th I say would be a good result. Very very close league as we all know.

    But I'll still be happy with 17th, obviously.

    Staying up is the main thing and at the start of the season when we were all making predictions on the old 606 I said I hoped we'd be 13/14th.

    We can still be there but the current unrest isn't going to do the team morale any good.

    i dont think we will sign a stiker but current decent stikers who are on free are

    Ewethon - 29 brazil international
    aliadiere - 27 not really a top striker
    mcarthy - not released by west ham yet but can score goals (trying to release him atm)

    cant think of many more that are decent

    and i would take 17th but i would like top 12
