Seeings we have seen a big chunk of the league already taken place and not too far away from the halfway stage, i thought i might have a go at a prediction for the league. Im going to tell you now, i am going to be biased towards leeds. 1. West Ham 2. Leeds 3. Southampton 4. Birmingham (winners in playoffs) 5. Cardiff 6. Burnley 7. Leicester 8. Reading 9. Hull 10. Blackpool 11. Middlesborough 12. Brighton 13. Derby 14. Crystal Palace 15. Nottingham Forest 16. Ipswich 17. Portsmouth 18. Bristol City 19. Barnsley 20. Peterborough 21. Millwall 22. Watford 23. Coventry 24. Doncaster Anyway, let me know if i've done anything stupid like pick the same team twice or anything like that along with agrees and disagrees. I reckon for us to get that second spot we will need to buy in january but i have confidence we will.
You have failed to take account of the impending 10 deduction for Pompey also Doncaster can improve so Coventry and Pompey for bottom 2 places. AS for the top6 Saints will be promoted and Leicester will end up in the top 6at the expense of Burnley
Ipswich to be relegated for me. 7 losses in a row, an old, slow midfield who don't care, and loads of players who were basically told they aren't good enough and are going to be moved on. No confidence at that place at the moment. We'll have to strengthen in January to make top 2. We're in a good position to look and push on. I hope the club don't do what they did last year, and actually make the neccessary additions to either hold onto our playoff place or push on towards automatic.
Re Ipswich how long before they lose their Jewel a week at mostincidentally I know he still lives in Guisely did he have inside information because it seemed that every time we went after a player he out bid us!. Bowyer , Stockdale Andrews and so on ...
Best fans, im hoping that last season has taught us a lesson and we do push on from january after some good signings
west ham saints -------- leeds cardiff leicester birmingham ------ burnley relegation- coventry doncaster portsmouth
Nah saints home form will keep them up there.. those playoffs would be ridiculously hard to call. leeds and cardiff dont have good play off records, leicester have failed recently, so id say birmingham who are well organised and hard to beat
