    Afternoon lads,

Where do you think the toon can realistically finish this up and coming season?

Also who do you think will be relegated.

I know its jumping the gun a bit but just wondered what peoples intial thoughts were.

10th-18th. Its either going to be a sensational season or ****. No in between.

I think we will have a brilliant season. Shove the 2nd season syndrome right up mackem arses.

I think Wigan, Norwich and QPR to go down.

    anywhere between 10th - 20th.

I can see Swansea going down unless they bring in quality, but if Wigan sell N'Zogbia they're ****ed aswell, hopefully we won't fill that last spot.

If we spend a good chunk of the £35m.... I think we'd be capable of 7th or 8th... if not, perhaps 10th or lower.

Depending on transfers/injuries/consistency I think we will finish smewhere between 7th and 17th. The Mackems will be about 10-14th, so we could finish ahead or behind them.

The title will be a close affair between the current 'big four', but Chelski will win it in the end, Citeh second, Manure third.

Wigan, Wolves and one of Blackburn, Norwich or Swansea, in the order of likeliness.

i think between 11th and 16th becuase teams like villa, fulham and everton will all get back up there next season.

obviously very little of this 35m will be invested into the team becuase getting in four more player at LB RW CM and ST would see us finishing 7 - 11th but ashley is a lying twat so there you go.

I'm gonna say anywhere between 6th and 12th. We have the potential to be European contenders but that depends on players staying fit and how much the other mid-table clubs strengthen over the summer. We'll have a better idea come Sep 1st I guess.

I think we CAN finish as high as 7th if everything goes well, but 9th/10th would be a good season, so long as we've launched a serious attempt to get into Europe (via the cups and the league).

Too early to say, summer transfers will have a big say yet.

On current squads I would say somewhere between 8th and 17th which lets face it is vague.

I think the three promoted teams will all go back down. They may all at times do a Blackpool and pull off some shocks, but over the course of the season they'll fall short. None of them are have made any improvements to their squad that make me think otherwise at this moment in time.

As for us, at the moment and if we don't get pummled with injuries again then 8/9/10 would be realistic and a good second season. If we sign some more players and keep players pretty fit then we can comfortably finish 8th. If we don't sign anyone else, Ba, Marveaux, Ben Arfa & Gosling struggle with injuries then we'll finish around 12/13th.
