For January is... Grant McCann. A bit of perspective for those who would send him down the road, or complain that a 1-0 victory would have been 5-0 or 6-0 under ANY OTHER MANAGER IN THE WORLD.
Oh, he won the award for one month out the season? He’s a saviour, huzzah! Or not. Congratulations to him. It was a good January, maybe him winning that explains why we haven’t won since.
It's bizarre isn't it. Looking at our results in January, and in particular 1 excellent performance, you can see why he won it. I wanted him gone last season and I still want him gone.
It shows it's just given on the amount of points achieved, Donny's manager actually did a better job in January, they just played less games.
Are you willing to bet your house on Doncaster and Oxford doing better in the 3 games they didn't play than we did? Would they have done so if playing as many games in the same period that City did with fatigue and injuries on poor pitches?
Give it to Oxford's manager then, **** Hull City. Of course you'd see a similar post on the Oxford site if their manager had won it.
Donny didn't actually play three games less than us, they had more cup games than us, knocking Blackburn out the FA Cup in the 3rd round, then losing to West Ham in the 4th, both in Jan. They've won ten out of the last eleven league games (including beating Oxford and Lincoln), so I'd have a few bob on them getting more points with more games.
Actively talking up Doncaster Rovers. The ****ing state of that. Maybe the not606 community could club together and hire a light aircraft to fly over the KCOM celebrating Donny’s four wins in January.
Gotta have a thick skin if you’re actually a supporter of Hull city On a hull city forum Al. We’re our own worst enemy
Maybe the not 606 community could start a petition against this truly awful decision..Has anyone contacted Doncaster for comment?
Congratulation to him for that, the worry is that he has tunnel vision when it comes to how we should play, and that light at the end of it has just got further away. Having said that, the chances of him ever seeing that light was probably never going to happen anyway.
