Match Day Thread League Cup Round One Chairboys v Cobblers 14/8/18

Its League Cup time and the Chairboys entertain the Coblers at Adams Park with both teams looking to kick start their season with a first win after a disappointing start to the league season.
Gaz will be making wholesale changes and with the way we have been playing there is plenty of scope to impress and nail down a place in the first team.
Although I will not be present at AP I will be keeping a close eye on the events going on there and will be looking forward to seeing us in the second round

 

I’m hoping for a little run in this cup, 3 home ties and 3 wins will do me.

Also, has it started later this year, I’m used to us already being out by the time the season starts.

 

I'm half and half I would like a cup run but with the low crowds in this competition unless you get to the 1/4 or semi you don't really make that much money and the size of our squad is not big enough to cope with a cup run and league 1 survival.
