As you probably know all clubs receive a small allocation of tickets for cup finals. I need at least a couple for the league cup final. I'm Sunderland but I'd buy tickets for any section. I'm happy to pay over the odds. I live 1000 miles from the UK but still manage around 16/20 games a season. I was at the semi-final and have stayed on for Kidderminster and the Stoke match on Wednesday. I can't have a season ticket so won't get a ticket for the final. I'm not going to give you a sob story, I'm just an ordinary supporter who's been travelling the length & breadth of the country for 40 years following my team. If you can help please pm, thanks.
Chances of anyone on our board being able to help are slim pal, unless anyone knows of people with any spare corporate seats. Only thing I can suggest is going on websites like StubHub/ Ticketmaster etc (which I'm sure you've thought of already). Though prepare to be financially raped. Cup final tickets on those sort of websites will likely be starting in the region of £200 I'd say and that's being cheap!
Cheers I once found a cup final ticket at Doncaster Rovers which included travel hence my straw grasping! I've just been give 4 neutrals from a mate in the referee's association. Now if I can buy some Sunderland tickets I'll be able to give these away and make someone's day.
Cheers and thank for the decent response. Check out the scumbag Leeds board and give yourself a pay on the back. I always believed 'ticket threads' were sacrosanct but it appears not.
No harm in asking a question mate. Leeds aren't worth talking about, went Elland Road a few seasons back in the FA Cup, scummy bunch of fans. About 6 or 7 tried surrounding me and my Cousin until they realised we travelled down with about 15 others and then decided to act as if it was all banter.
I know how you feel.I used to follow Spurs all over the place in the late 50's/60's/70's. I tried for a ticket for the 60/61 Cup Final.Friends wer handing me their different ballot cards but it didn't help.I had to watch it on the telly...and brother,IT AIN'T THE SAME! I felt like the man who missed being the first man in space....
