As you probably know all clubs receive a small allocation of tickets for cup finals. I need at least a couple for the league cup final. I'm Sunderland but I'd buy tickets for any section. I'm happy to pay over the odds. I live 1000 miles from the UK but still manage around 16/20 games a season. I was at the semi-final and have stayed on for Kidderminster and the Stoke match on Wednesday. I can't have a season ticket so won't get a ticket for the final. I'm not going to give you a sob story, I'm just an ordinary supporter who's been travelling the length & breadth of the country for 40 years following my team. If you can help please pm, thanks.
I doubt you will have much joy through clubs Snug. I think they would probably be kept 'in house'. A few years ago, the referee's association used to get some tickets. Have you got any mates that are qualified and registered referees?
Cheers mate. I once got tickets, including travel, from Doncaster Rovers, hence my post. You just never know! By coincidence I've just been given 4 'neutrals' from a ref's association. If I manage to find any Sunderland tickets I'll be able to give these away. My 3 sons are in my avatar and are now very happy lads. Two of us will be at your place soon for the match.
