Its all over now isnt it. Protest will prevail, dissent disobedience forget about the team. I hope Mr Allam gets his money out we go into liquidation and the Supporters trust take over. Cos its only going one way now.
The players were affected today it will get worse.
Ah well mussy will be over the moon.

So you admit you're more bothered about Allam's pockets being full than the team?

Do you always resort to what can only be described as "drama queen comments" ?

If you think the players give a **** about what the positive noise the crowd are making is about, you are insane

Some of our supporters have lost touch with the big picture. If Allam announces tomorrow that he's going and wants his money back there's going to be a lot of people smacking their heads.

It didn't affect the players at all. They didn't look interested from the beginning.

It's just typical City fan tradition to blame dire performances and results on anything else but the match itself.

Bruce's team selection was wrong, the players didn't turn up and we suffered yet another smash and grab defeat at the KC. You'd have thought we'd have become accustomed to this sort of result now. It certainly didn't surprise me, as I actually said Palace would win 1-0 (though I said with an 89th minute goal).

What the fans do, the players tend to agree with (because even players believe in traditions surprisingly enough) and with that in mind, that should technically spur the players on to perform with even more enthusiasm and determination to show heart for the fans and the Club.

I didn't really want to reply to this thread, because it's one of them where it's either a blatantly obvious WUM which I've embarrassingly fallen for, or you're being genuinely serious and I shouldn't give any merit to the post by replying. Ah well.

I don't understand that attitude. Are you saying that we should all live in fear of him and question nothing just because we know he's a twat when he's questioned?

Or is it that you think it would be reasonable action to take on his part?

Allam isn't just going to walk away, this is just a pathetic myth created by the worst among us.

1) You need someone actually wanting to buy Hull City in the first place before he can sell.
2) That's very rare.
3) As much as this decision is wrong, he genuinely believes he's doing the right thing. His heart is in the right place, but unfortunately the logic and reasoning is flawed. He won't just walk and let the Club crumble, because he loves the City, even despite all the opposition he's facing from the fans.

The fact you even suggest that this is a possibility actually shows the doubts you have about him as a person and an owner.

Is it reasonable for everything to be on a knife edge like this? His way or no way?

All the fans have asked is him to consult the fans – nothing more.

I don't understand your attitude. We are one of the 20 most envied clubs in the country. We have struggled to get where we are for the better part of 109 years and you want to throw it all away for the sake of a name change that will probably be reversed without any fuss at the end of Allam's tenure.
You talk about the name issue being so important to our identity, but in a few years the events happening now could see us back where we started at the bottom of the pile. Get a bloody reality check man.

Yes, very eloquent, but who will give a **** about that when we're in the third division?

We should be but…

We’re seen as a laughing stock like Cardiff were/are.

We’re perceived as soulless sell-outs of Murdochian platitudes.

We’re seen as the white trainered, tracksuited and baseball capped **** of the Premier League I’m afraid.

This was my point too. If he really would walk away like that then it would confirm his status as a ****.

I appreciate the drama and fiction but can you answer my question? I know I can't force you but I specifically asked why you hold that view. The fact you ignored it and tried to deflect by writing a spin-off saga makes me think you don't have a good answer to it. So to try to understand you better I'll ask again:

You said "Some of our supporters have lost touch with the big picture. If Allam announces tomorrow that he's going and wants his money back there's going to be a lot of people smacking their heads."

I'm asking whether you think this is a reasonable course of action for him to take and whether you would support it. If not do you think we should just sit back and let him do what he wants out of fear? Based on the above quote from your post, I think the answer to at least one of these questions must be yes.

I don't care if we're seen as 'Gimp United'. WE ARE IN THE EPL which should be every supporter's highest priority to maintain. We need Allam's money, it's as simple as that.

Why do you think we'll be relegated if Allam pulls out?
