I just seen League 2 team of the year and we have 2 players in it! The other 9 is from the top 4 clubs! Very strange. I then checked League 1 thinking you must have at least 2 players in it thinking Baldock and JET would be in it seeing Baldock is the leagues top scorer and JET was winning you points on his own for half the season. I am shocked you didnt have any players!
We all are! JET and Baldock are the 4th best strike partnership in England, behind, Sturridge - Suarez, Aguero - Negredo, Ings - Vokes. They are the top 2 in the table for goals and assists and Sam Baldock is the leagues top scorer..... How the **** one of them isn't in the team is a joke...
I can understand JET, from December onwards he's been poor in most games But Baldock top scorer, playing in a team that's affectively been in a relegation scrap the whole season..
Will give Sam more of an incentive - if he needs any - to bang a few more in on Saturday, just to make sure of the League 1 Golden Boot!
i didnt know all the stats that you just said, makes it even more stranger to me. im still in shock that o'toole is in our leagues team of the years. its obviously for his goal alone as he has been pants all season long. of they watched him he wouldnt hav ebeen picked for sure. so if its just for his goals alone which it must be, then why aint baldock in yours?? just dont make any sense to me.
Utter bull$hit, I am prepared to bet in every other divisions team of the season the top goal scorer will be in it, yet not L1. I expected Sam Baldock to be our only representative as no one else deserves to be anywhere near it, but 24 goals in a team that was in the bottom 6 for almost the whole season should have spoken volumes, clearly the L1 judges are deaf!!!
To be fair Callum Wilson was injured for a couple of months, but still would have included Baldock because it's not just about goals with him, but work rate too
But Sam has still scored more than Brett Assburgler at Posh so should be in the side, and having just checked, guess what, every other divisions high scorer is the team of the season!!
Hopefully as nobody rates them they will be left alone to play for us again next season. Under the radar - just how I like it.
Exactly right I saw a few strange decisions in the Prem team as well Company instead of Terry. Thats a weird one - also Colman, the best right back in England ? And Cech instead of Marshall ?
