Hello from Preston a big congratulation to you on entering the desert that will be the League 1 forum, I've lost Charlton and Wycombe but are gaining yourselves and Portsmouth.
Glad to see Chris Neal actually found a club that will play him although judging by some of the goals you've let in he may not have had a great season.
Look forward to the banter over next season and look forward to getting to the Meadow whenever we play you, it appears to be miles from a pub but not to worry about that yet.

hi, no it is not miles from a pub. the nearset is the brooklands, i will let others tell you how far as i am in deepes devon. hope the desert has a few oasis's to liven things up. good thread

Neal has generally been playing well but prone to the odd mistake as in our last 2 defeats against Plymouth and yesterday.

He did pick up a player of the month award from away supporters last week, though, and has been outstanding in April.

There's a large traffic island closeby to the ground, literally a 5-10min walk. The Brooklands is located just off that island. Very friendly pub, where away supporters are most welcome.

Neal has had a decent enough season. Yes, he made some mistakes & I guess with them points, we would've won the league. But he has played very well back-end of the season.

Did Neal muck up at the Swindon away game? I know we should have won it but can't remember the reason other that is was Morgan wearing orthopeadic boots causing him to do rugby shots.

is neal on his way, rumour has it , he is going

AJ people just seem to be repeating a rumour, B&A is an amazing place where everyone repeats a posters 'possibly' as 'fact'. Two pieces of secondary information do not make a piece of primary information.

Let's hope he stays on <ok>
