Rules Default League 1 betting Game 14/15th September Betting Game Please Note this is a bit of fun betting can seriously damage your wealth when done with real money Thanks to Ron the mod for these rules which have been slightly adapted. The League 1 Betting Competition - Rules 1. The competition will start on Tuesday 6th August 2013, League cup games, and end immediately after the final League 1 fixture is completed.(Not including the play offs) 2. Each month £100 will be allocated to the Betting Account of all competitors 3. Matches available for betting on will be posted on the Thursday of each week (or earlier), showing the odds available. These will be League 1 matches only. 4. Single and multiple bets allowed, at the odds posted in the Competition Thread for that week and must be posted at least 15 minutes before the kick-off Acceptable bets are as follows Singles Doubles Trebles Trixies (3 selections 4 bets) Patents(3 selections 7 bets)- Yankees(4 selections 11 bets) Canadian/SuperYankee(5 selections 26 bets) Lucky 15(a Yankee plus 4 singles) 15 bets Lucky 31(a Canadian plus 5 singles) 31 bets. 5. The stake may be any amount up to the balance remaining in the Betting Account. If more than one bet is placed on any day there must be enough in the Betting Account to cover all bets. Any bets placed that would cause the account to go overdrawn will be reduced/removed accordingly. Minimum single stake £1. 6. At the end of each month Betting Account Balances will be posted showing the total (if any) carried forward plus the additional £100 allocated for the following month Plus I will post running totals so you can see what is in your account at all times. 7. It is not necessary to bet every week but a minimum of £100 must be staked every month. Failure to stake the minimum in any month will result in a penalty equal to the shortfall and will be deducted from the Betting Account for the following month (effectively staking the shortfall on a losing bet). Failure to post any bets for 3 consecutive months will result in elimination from the competition. 8. If a match is not started for any reason, or is abandoned at any stage, the bet will be void 9. These Rules may be modified at any stage for the purpose of clarity. Any change to the Rules will be notified at the top of the Competition thread then current Bonus bets if you do not use your bonus bet it will be placed as a win on the team with the shortest odds playing on the day in question. Bonus bets are SINGLES ONLY 10. For win bets just state team and stake. For draw bets just state home team, "Draw" and stake. Win and Draw bets can be any sort correct score bets when published singles and doubles only(Correct score bets vary so much on a daily basis I won't be doing them atm). For any Betting virgins Single 1 selection Has to win to pay out Double 2 selections both have to win to pay out. Treble 3 selections all 3 must win to pay out. Trixie 3 selections 3 doubles 1 treble 4 bets 2 selections need to win for payout A Patent 3 selections - 3 singles - 3 doubles - 1 acc total 7 bets One selection winning gives a pay out Yankee 4 selections - 6 Doubles - 4 trebles - 1 acc total 11 bets min 2 selections need to win for a payout Canadian 5 selections 10 doubles - 10 trebles - 5 4 folds - 1 acc. total 26 bets. min 2 selections need to win to payout Lucky 15(a Yankee plus 4 singles) 15 bets 1 selection wins to pay out Lucky 31(a Canadian plus 5 singles) 31 bets 1 selection wins to pay out NB. Anyone who missed the start of the competiton may join in at any time and will start with a £100 stake Bets Accepted on League 1 Fixtures starting 10th.
