Not confirmed yet but reports suggest he has agreed to sign in the summer.

If true i personally wish him luck.

Just googled it and this is all I can find...

    http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/tra...eadbitter-at-end-of-season-article884878.html

"Middlesbrough are poised to sign Ipswich skipper Grant Leadbitter when his contract expires at the end of the season.

The former Sunderland and England Under-21 midfield man is close to agreeing terms with the Teessiders.

Leadbitter has hit four goals in as many games, including a long range drive in his team’s 1-1 draw with Boro last Tuesday at Portman Road.

Ipswich have made him an offer, but it is a third of the £15,000 that he is already on."

I would say if he’s definitely off what’s he doing taking up someone else’s place on the pitch today, but then again Bowyer gets a another start!! I hope PJ isn’t planning on re-signing him. Unless the physios need plenty of practice.

    At least Carson’s on today.

Agreed Jonah, we should not be playing anyone at this stage of the season who won't be here next campaign. PJ should already know who he wants to keep without giving them 'a chance to prove yourself, one last time'

Seriously bad news for you guys if this is true... you'll have to bring in a replacement ASAP because inexperienced players like Hyam aren't up to the job and those are some big boots to fill.

If he continues his form of late then he is a decent signing on a free... However as we all know too well he has not been a decent signing for close to three million quid, affects the game far too little the majority of the time.
