The Gameshow event which was scheduled for this sunday has been postponed due to low ticket sales as a result of the clash with Mothering Sunday Official #watfordfc ‏ @wfcbadgemoose Unfortunately, Mothers Day has hit #watfordfc's @ldx2012 ticket sales for first event to extent it has been postponed & to be re-scheduled. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/9586833.Doyley_testimonial_event_postponed/
Let's hope that's the reason, although personally, I cannot see that any right-minded mother would pass up the opportunity to attend such an event in favour of a meal out with her family/cooked by hubby etc.
Thats the reason the Wobby and Moose are reporting. There had been so few tickets sold that it was not viable.
BRING YOUR MOTHERS TO DOYLEY MILFs get 50% discount. Family fun all in one with a Doyley twist ! Seriously though, cheers for the heads up on Mother's day, it would have passed my by otherwise !
i can't see this as being the reason...but it's a good excuse..seems a shame though...i do wonder why it wasn't popular though...
I dunno - not a great date to have chosen really - I would expect this to be a popular event on a normal Sunday
Maybe the venue was just too big. Area can hold what, 1,000 people? Maybe a bit more? I'd be interested to know how that compares to club open days.
I hope I'm right. The ideal scenario is a smallish, packed venue, where have to queue up outside (but not for too long).
