From the legendary stable of media pundits that include the illustrious Colu_Mike, Clarridge, and Lawrenson; all of which are in secret able to see the future and attempt to confuse the general public, however if you bet strongly on the reverse of what they predict, you will frequently win and profit.

    Lawrenson predicts a ....

    A LOSS!

    Surprise!

    WOW!

That'll be a norwich win then for sure...

2-0 isn't what I would consider 'edging it.'

I hate to say this but it appears all you have done is simply select the team that is the higher in the league table of the two in each tie to win.

If it's highlighting who was selected to win it's wrong as Arsenal, in red, are predicted to win and so are West Brom, highlighted in black.

The day lawro predicts us to win when not favourites (eg Wigan at home) i quite possibly run to Media City in Salford and kiss him on his lovely thatched hair cut!

mmn, he can't see lightening striking twice. I can, they will be to avenge the defeat and will probably be more attacking leaving them open to more sucker punches.

Why oh why do they persist with him as a pundit? Is he blackmailing the BBC controller

Or perhaps play more cautiously, fully aware of the potent threat that we proved last time in the counter-attack :) Tierney and Hoolahan coming back should swing things our way...

To be honest with you I'm not really too bothered about the cup, the leagues the most important thing.

To be fair, he did predict we would beat Sunderland.

Though that is the only time he has said we will win as far as I can remember.

Lawro: BBC Radio 5 live pundit Mark Lawrenson on the opening 15 minutes at Anfield: "Manchester United are just looking a little bit more comfortable on the ball and more of an attacking threat."

    2 minutes later Liverpool score...

That has to be the laziest, most pathetic set of predictions I have ever, ever seen. He's simply looked at a betting coupon and gone for all the favourites in every single one. Dear me, the guy is an absolute joke <doh>
