Although his forecasts are widely derided, you can't help but sit up when he says this: Sunderland v Liverpool (1330) Not only do I feel Sunderland are due a home win but Liverpool played in the Europa League on Thursday and will still be without Steven Gerrard for the trip to Wearside. Sunderland are starting to get a few men back from injury - Danny Welbeck looked really sharp on his return from a knee problem against Arsenal - and, when his players are fit, Steve Bruce has an excellent squad at his disposal. They're a top-10 Premier League side and have spent proper money on players who would get into several teams higher up the table than them. They've been going about their business in the right way - it's an extremely well run club with a good manager. Prediction: 2-1
56Danny - When I read this this morning, I have to admit to a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. Until then, I was feeling very optimistic about Sundays game, and then that pratt has to go and say nice things about us and to forecast a win. The awful thing is that he is soooooo bad at predicting results - never mind scores - where's the paracetamol??<headhurts>
i suppose he's not damned us with faint praise, that was practically gushing coming from him against his beloved liverpool, but that does now mean we're ****ed. shame, i really thought we could get something out of this game.
Lawro knows nowt, I’d be as likely to go to him for brain surgery as I would for comments about football.
Don't worry mate, law of averages says he'll get it right at some point............... even our dog could pick a result given enough time
