Every week we seem to like what our favourite pundits has to say....he has mixed results...

How-ever this week he predicts...................a draw...maybe he could be right.

    Sunderland v QPR

Unusually for them, Sunderland didn't really get going against Blackburn on Tuesday. The Black Cats will want to make up for that against QPR, but they will also be thinking about next week's FA Cup quarter-final replay with Everton, and the chance of getting to Wembley.

Rangers, undoubtedly, will be up for this one. If you had walked into their training ground the day after they came back to beat Liverpool then it would have been a great place to be because there is nothing better than winning the way they did.

Those sorts of results galvanise teams and I just have a sneaky feeling that Bobby Zamora and, particularly, Djibril Cisse might just prove to be master signings in their relegation fight.

Many years ago, West Ham stayed up because they signed John Hartson and Paul Kitson, albeit in February, and if Zamora and Cisse get going they could be the difference between QPR staying up or not.

Defensively they are not particularly good and you wouldn't say they have a great midfield but with those two up front, they do have a chance. The ability to score goals makes a big difference for struggling sides and by hook or by crook I think QPR will stay up.

A lot has been made of QPR's run-in - they play all of the top five in their last nine games - but I think the pressure will actually be off them a little bit in those games, and that helps. If they had to play Wolves, Wigan, Bolton and Blackburn then they would be expected to win, which isn't always a positive thing.

    Prediction: 1-1

Hope he's wrong but if he is I will be losing cos my money will be on the same score. Think the Everton factor will kick in with our players.

Would still like Barton to get a few kicks to the ribs, head, shins etc.

I watched Barton against Liverpool (This is Barton the Liverpool supporter) pass a ball to a Liverpool player almost every time - for me it looked like he wanted Liverpool to win - he also tries to referee every game he plays in, and most of the time gets away with it - just hope we have Bardsley keeping him quiet (verbally rather than in football terms)

Thanks Mr Merson.......................actually i have predicted the same.....gotta stop drinkin this meths.

    Sunderland v QPR

    PAUL PREDICTS: 1-2

I watched Sunderland against Blackburn and they were very poor. They have worked hard all season and they have an FA Cup quarter-final against Everton on Tuesday, which would take them to Wembley. Martin O'Neill has earned the right to make a lot of changes for this game and the other teams down the bottom won't like that, but I have no qualms with it. For that reason, I think QPR are going to go there and get all three points.

I remember the long drive back on a friday night, arriving home at 3am, having seen us get a 2-2 draw against QPR when they had Vinny Jones playing. Think if I remember correctly, it prevented us getting promotion.

Think it could be a similar scoreline on Saturday.
