It;s a.................... Draw.. One of our favorite pundits.. Sunderland v Liverpool When you are not involved, you can laugh at the sort of scenes we saw in last week's particularly feisty Tyne-Wear derby and the way the Newcastle and Sunderland players and staff acted while they were totally caught up in the moment. But Black Cats midfielder Lee Cattermole deserves to get a rocket off Martin O'Neill because for him to get sent off after the final whistle when his side had just secured a really good point against their fierce rivals was absolutely ridiculous. Sunderland are generally very good at home, but I cannot see them beating a Liverpool team who actually put in one of their best performances of the season in their defeat by Arsenal last week. That left the Reds 10 points behind Arsenal in the race for fourth place but, even if they had drawn that game at Anfield, I still don't think they would have finished above the Gunners. The amount of games they have drawn at home is what they will look back on with regret at the end of the season. Prediction: 1-1
Hes really incisive isnt he?.....I think nearly every team in the country could say " The (amount) of games they have drawn at home is what they will look back on with regret......" ...and also why finish this piece with a comment on Liverpools home record....Its Sunderlands home game!!
Catts is a clever boy got the yellow against Twatiote TO SHOW HIM WHOSE THE BOSS THEN A RED AT THE END, so that the final yellow is irrelevant. as he was one away from a ban, gets it out of the way for the run up to end of season
But did he not receive a first minute yellow? Or can you get both a yellow and a red in one instance? I thought he got the 'red' because it was a 'second yellow' in the game.
No, stripes, you can get a yellow in a game and then later a straight red if the 'crime' is serious enough so he was given a yellow for the tackle and a straight red for 'using foul and abusive language' to the referee.
Never let's us down... Gan on Merson......have a drink on me... ..................................... Sunderland v Liverpool PAUL PREDICTS: 0-2 Stephane Sessegnon and Lee Cattermole are both suspended, which is disastrous for Sunderland. Meanwhile, Liverpool are at a stage where they might as well throw caution to the wind in every game and go for the three points. It doesn't matter if they end up with nothing. I'll go for Liverpool to win
Sorry, thought it said Lawro the prick? Was going to fully endorse that sentiment. Lawro predicts? He can't.
As usual Lawro proves he does not know what he is talking about..... and Merson shows he is probably still on the pop
