Well fcuk me... The man has gone for a Swans victory for once!!

"This is an absolutely massive game, and first and foremost I hope that none of the fans do anything stupid.

I know all about the rivalry between the two teams, and I know they have never met in the Premier League before, but I hope their supporters keep some perspective - I would like to read about what has happened on the pitch, rather than off it, in the Sunday newspapers.

I have a feeling Swansea might edge it and they are probably quite confident themselves.
Their results have been improving after a difficult start to the season and, unlike Cardiff, they are looking up the table, not down it.

    Lawro's prediction: 1-2
    James's prediction: 2-2"

Look, I know fans of both the Jacks and Dragons are a bit peeved by the media making out we are clubs of trouble when derby days are concerned but we cannot escape the fact even today South Wales Police are the experts and they forced the Premier League to change it's rule this season which allowed away fans to make their own way to the opposition stadium. South Wales Police do this based on the previous games and unfortunately arrests happen at both games, let's not beat around the bush as we both have total numpties who these days are normally late teens and drunk with nothing to contribute to society. They are a small minority but enough to make our derby to be considered the most fierce on this island.

Let's hope the police are on the ball this time and let the game be awesome!!! Lawro is just saying it how it is, there will be trouble by the buses yet again if it is allowed by slack policing so I don't think either side should berate him on his comment.

    :)

Being serious. The blokes a ****er end of

It's a derby, anything can happen as form and league placings go out the window. I can't help but feel that the powers to be want trouble on Sunday on and off the pitch. If they then deducted points off both teams I wouldn't be surprised.

Both clubs have dickheads following them, I for one hope it's trouble free and everyone going is safe and return home well. If world war 3 erupted in the stands then the press would lap it up. Let's hope that doesn't happen and it's a great game of football

The police have to be on the ball for sure because both sides have attracted more fans with the move to the Prem so I suspect the ranks of twats looking for trouble have also been swelled.

The way the police didn't have a presence in the away toilets at the Liberty a while back was in itself criminal. It allowed those idiots to cause over £10,000 worth of damage. When the primary duty of the police is the protection of life and property I can't understand why senior police were not disciplined. The thing is it happened again on a smaller scale in the return leg. <doh>

I have no faith in the police other than to rely on them to do nothing or to overreact in equal measure. Elements of the media will love it if there's trouble so I hope our lot behave.

Oh, and thanks Lawro for the kiss of death. <laugh>
